Good weekend readers!!! What an amazing wake up I have had over the past couple weeks! And in the midst of it all I took this picture that fit my moment perfect and will serve as a good reminder. Before you get visions of this perfect scene, let me explain that this piece of wood was and still is sitting in my garage. It wasn't in the forest or a large tree, it was in a pile of very old barn wood that I'm going to be using for a project. (I will share if it turns out okay...)
What have I learned? I have learned that our world has created so much pressure for us all. Big, small, young, old, what ever position you hold we are consistently trying to fit what life says we should fit. But the texture, color, feel and strength of the image above and some life events reminded me that's all just ridiculous. LIFE IS NOT THAT SERIOUS! And if you know THAT you are doing great. You don't have to meditate on it for hours. (Unless you want too.) You don't have to capture it. (Unless you want too.) You don't have to share all of it. (Pattern here) And above all you don't have to compare your amazing life with all the others that put it out there, because we all just put out our best.
You just have to wake up in the morning and realize that, most of the crap is not that serious. Pick your most important large goals and go for it. YOU know how to get there. YOU know what it will take! SO GO!!!!
There are amazing people out there to help and inspire, but you have to stop expecting someone to have all the answers. Let them help, inspire and then get out of your own head and MOVE!!! Think about how amazing life truly is and can be, if everyone stopped being so serious and started focusing on doing the best them. Let's create a movement and you can consider this your challenge. START TODAY and don't give up even if you find you fall back into your old habits.
